When running a dev-build, please keep the following points in mind:

• Dev builds override the config option to check for updates. It does NOT override the option to download them, that's all up to you! (though it is recommended you leave it on). Both update checking and downloading only refers to stable releases. You cannot check for/download new dev-builds.
• The dev-builds may get updated rather frequently, so check back often!
• These builds might not be tested as thoroughly as the release builds.
• Dev builds may not always be backward compatible with the latest release build. This can occur if the database schema is changed in a dev-build for example (then the old version can no longer read the data). So be sure to make backups!
